Jefferson Elementary School Library Blog

I'm Ivy Gardner. I am the Media Specialist at Jefferson Elementary School. This is my third year at JES. I earned my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education at Winthrop University. I then taught 2nd grade for one year before heading back to school. I earned a Masters of Science in Library and Information Science from Drexel Univesity. After working one year in a public library, I found my home at JES. I love sharing my love of books and technology with our students and staff. During my free time, I enjoy reading, gardening, kayaking, spending time with my family and my three dogs, and living a happy healthy life!
